GoGoReview: Sounds of the Ferry

This colourful story for children of ages two through six follows a ferry and its passengers along a journey. The story rhymes and flows to a rhythm making it a great book for learning readers, or a fun story to listen to for kids who haven't started reading yet. The verbs are even illustrated with a font that relates to their meaning! The illustrations are detailed and fun, giving the readers lots to look at from page to page, and new things to notice when reading it a second, third, or fourth time. Sounds of the Ferry is light and fun, and perfect for winding down before nap time or bed time. This is Sara Leach's second book, and she has also written Mountain Machines, Jake Reynolds: Chicken or Eagle? and Count Me In.
