June 9, 2011 - A new breed of cat called the Cuban blue has been discovered! The cats are known to be playful and friendly. In the cat world, "blues" are actually grey cats. There are five other breeds of blues called the Russian blue, the Chartreux, the Korat, the Nebelung, and the British blue. The Cuban blue looks a lot like the Russian blue, and for a long time, people thought they were the same breed and could not figure out how the Russian blues got to Cuba! It is now evident that the body of the Russian blue cat and the Cuban blue differ from one another and so, a new cat is born!
